"New Mexico Red"
12 dried red chilis
(minus seeds/stems)
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp ground Cummin
1/2 tsp Oregano
Stick about twelve
dried red chilis, (Minus seeds and stems), into
the Blender, with 2-2 1/2 cups of warm water, 2 garlic cloves, 1
teaspoon of ground Cummin, 1/2 teaspoon of Oregano, and salt to taste.
Set the Blender at "Puree", an' let'er go. Check it ever' so
often, and
if it don't have enough "Bite", stick in some little dried red
"Chili De
Arbol". When it crosses your eyes, it's DONE!
About the French Fries; Stick 'em in the "Mickey Mouse" under
"Baked Potatoes", and run 'em through two cycles. Preheat a
Fryin' Pan,
(sprayed with Pam), and 1 spoon of Peanut Oil. Throw in the Murphy's,
an' toss 'em around 'till they start to brown. (We like a LOT of salt
an' pepper). Put 'em on a plate, an' spread a bunch of "New Mexico
Red"
over 'em. Better keep a hot cup of Coffee close at hand!
