Creamed Green Chile

4 oz green chiles
1 can evaporated milk
4 slices salt pork (about 1 x 4 inches)
salt to taste
In a small skillet, brown salt pork and dice. Stir in Chiles and heat
through. Add enough milk to cover. Bring mixture to a slow boil, reduce heat
and simmer until slightly thickened.
Bow your head and thank the Lord for Green Chiles, then dig in!
