What is the Roadhouse?

The Roadhouse started out as shadowsrc, a mailing list for riders of Honda Shadow motorcycles. It has evolved and changed its name. The Roadhouse is a place to go, have a virtual drink, chat with friends and talk about (nearly) anything. The one thing that keeps us together is our common interest in Shadows. You DON'T have to own a Shadow to join us; we just require that you have an interest in Shadows.


How do I join the Roadhouse Mailing List?

To subscribe, send an e-mail message to imailsrv@shadowriders.org with the words subscribe roadhouse followed by your first name and last name. Do this from the mailbox you wish to subscribe.


How do I leave the Roadhouse Mailing List?

To unsubscribe, send an e-mail message to imailsrv@shadowriders.org with the words unsubscribe roadhouse . Do this from the mailbox you wish to unsubscribe.

 

Are there other commands, like how to switch to Digest mode?

Yes, there are!

To receive a list of the lists supported here, send a mail message to imailsrv@shadowriders.org with the following in the body of the message:

To receive a list of users on a given list (If enabled for that particular list), send a mail message to imailsrv@shadowriders.org with the following in the body of the message :

 

list roadhouse

To receive help send:

 

help [roadhouse]

To change to digest mode, send a mail message to imailsrv@shadowriders.org with the following in the body of the message:

 

set mode digest roadhouse

To change back to standard mode, send a mail message to imailsrv@shadowriders.org with the following in the body of the message:
